California files suit to block Trump administration’s abortion ‘gag rule’ in family planning program

The suit, which was filed in U.S. District Court in San Francisco, is the first of what is expected to be a flurry of challenges to the new rule that impacts more than 4 million low-income women who receive services through the Department of Health and Human Services program.
